Jansen Saskatchewan :: Annual Events
On July 1, the Jansen & District Kinsmen Club never fails to put on a terrific Canada Day Celebration. Children are able to enjoy the rides and games, while kids of all ages enjoy the ice cream and birthday cake provided. Hotdogs are served and the Kinsmen have beer gardens set up as well. The evening is wrapped up by a spectacular fireworks display that is always absolutely amazing. People from all around come to take in the event, while many motorists pause to enjoy the sky-lit display.
There are two snowmobile rallies in the area. One is held by the Jansen and District Kinsmen (with the help of the Kinettes), and the other by the Haliburton Community Club. These snowmobile rallies are annual events for snowmobilers and non-riders alike. Lots of prizes are to be won, with money raised going to Telemiracle and local community projects. The snowmobile rallies are held in February of each year.
